About Top the Charts
I love independent Celtic music. But the little people of the Irish and Celtic music world don't really get the attention that they deserve. So I thought up an interesting idea...
What if I was able to inspire 40,000 listeners of my show to download one song from iTunes? What if you told your five friends to download one song on one day? What if they posted a message on Myspace and told their friends to do the same? Could we make that song a Number One Hit and drive music sales for that artist? For an independent artist? Could we turn a moderately successful musician or group into the media's eye?
I believe we can we can Top The Charts.
Right now, there are just a few Celtic artists on the charts. But they are backed by big labels. I want to see independent music Top the Charts. And I would like your help. Here's how:
Once a month, I'm gonna post a link to a song on iTunes by an independent Celtic music group who has just released a new album. You'll hear the song on the podcast. And on the 15th of the month, I'd like you to come to this webpage, find out who artist is, and order the song via iTunes. Then watch iTunes as the song Tops the Charts all day long.
For a meer 99 cents, you will help show the world that independent Celtic music rocks because you will help us to Top the Charts. Let's get started.
